Kind Words

"Brandi has a marvelous way of reading body language and interpreting what you are truly attempting to say during the craziness of labor. She was gentle and compassionate, yet appropriately confident. She has a beautiful and natural skill as a doula and labor assistant. My husband and I would both highly recommend her!"

🍂✨ A golden leaf fell early this morn, Three 🍂✨ A golden leaf fell early this morn,
Three weeks before her time was born.
She drifted down with the autumn breeze,
A gentle soul, set the world at ease. The harvest moon whispered soft and bright,
As she arrived in the amber light.
Like the leaves that dance from the tallest tree,
She found her place, where she’s meant to be. Welcome, little one, our autumn delight,
You’ve filled our hearts with warmth and light. 🍁🌙
We got behind on birth announcements & social medi We got behind on birth announcements & social media posts 🤪 So I figured we should just START AGAIN & what better way than by introducing my first grand child! He was born in February 😅! His mama had lots of prodromal labor and once she kicked into active labor she progressed super quickly! I didn’t get to catch him because I stepped out of the room to take a breath & set up the delivery room (we didn’t have time to get to the birth suite ). What a privilege & honor to be Heidi & Jefferson’s midwife 🥰. I’ve always said I was born to be a grandma and I absolutely love it! I love you Jasper 🤗🩵
I love harvesting these little guys. The Scarlet E I love harvesting these little guys. The Scarlet Elf Cup. In traditional medicine, elf cups were placed on the navels of newborns to promote healing! Folklore says that fairies & elves drank morning dew from the cups or its where they bathed. 🍄🌱🍄‍🟫 They grow in very cool, shady conditions, usually on fallen wood. Yes they are edible (I plan to dry mine & use them in a pasta dish). Not to be confused with the ruby elf cup (only identifying difference are the tiny hairs visible by a microscope on the ruby ones). 🌱🍄
